1. What times are the Worship Services at Trinity?

     Trinity has three Worship Services every week -
  • Contemporary Service on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
  • Traditional Service on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.
  • Blended Service on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.

  • Trinity also has other special services held during the year. Call the Church Office at 564-8547 for additional service information.



    2. Where is Trinity Lutheran Church located?

    Trinity is located on the corner of 23rd avenue and 25th street - just south of Columbus High School. From U.S. Highway 30, turn north by the Burger King restaurant and the church is two blocks. (See map)



    3. Do you have a Nursery?

    Yes, Trinity offers a fully staffed nursery at every Worship Service for infants through 3 years old.



    4. What time is your Sunday school and what ages can attend?

    Christian Education is offered 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning for ages 3 through adult. Nursery is provided for infants through 2 years old. There is also a Wednesday evening youth ministry for 3rd grade through 8th grade. Published schedules of additional Adult classes are made available throughout the year.



    5. Does Trinity have a Day Care or Pre School?

    Yes, Kids Of The Kingdom offers Daycare for ages 18 months to 12 years old. They also offer a Pre School for 4 and 5 year olds and a Playgroup for 3 year olds. You may contact Kids Of The Kingdom directly at 563-0120



    6. How often do you offer communion?

    Holy Communion is celebrated twice a month on Saturdays and once a month on Sundays. You may contact the Church Office at 564-8547 to find out the next time Holy Communion is celebrated.



    7. Do I need to be a member of Trinity to receive communion?

    No, if you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, desire forgiveness of your sins and are accustomed to receiving communion in your home church, you are welcome to commune at Trinity.



    8. How does one become a member?

    Members are normally received in three ways
              a) Baptism
              b) Transfer from another Lutheran Church
              c) Adult Membership Classes




    9. Does Trinity have a Mission Statement?

    Yes, Trinity's Mission Statement is "Offering the promise of salvation through Christ Jesus and making disciples of those believing in Him."



    10. What other ministries does Trinity offer?

    Trinity's children's ministry includes a Wednesday evening opportunity. Breakout is for children wanting to grow deeper in faith. Student Impact offers community, growth opportunities, mission trips, and prayer for high-schoolers. Trinity also offers a number of women and men's Small Group Bible studies. There are also a number of vocal and bell choirs for all ages and abilities as well as a Care Ministry, Prayer Chains, Media Ministry and Meals on Wheels. Trinity is also the home of KTLX 91.9 FM Radio Station which broadcasts 24 hours a day. New ministry opportunities are continually being added, so please contact the Church Office at 564-8547 for additional opportunities.
